Gelare's Ice Cream and Waffles

I don't think i even need to mention this one. i just put up the picture to remind everyone how yummy waffles and ice cream can be. if you haven't tried the waffles and ice cream at gelare, you've been living under a rock. so go try it. waffles are half price on tuesday.

i always thought waffles went better with fruit flavored ice cream. the wild strawberry is my favorite.

a little about the rating system

the rating system that i use is out of ten.

5 - average
the dish is average or nothing spectacular

6 - above average
the dish fares above average, but shouldn't be considered good yet

7 - good
the food is good. this signifies a certain minimum standard of competence.

8 - very good
the food is very good and deserves some recognition

9 - excellent
the food is definitely good to a point where it deserves mild applause

10 - WOW
the food is exceptional. i won't give any dish a 10 until i truly think "wow" the first time i eat it

on a side note, you probably won't see anything below 5 because if it is, i simply won't post it. unless it's so bad that it deserves mentioning

my passion is food. yup. i guess i don't have to say. so, please leave a comment WHOEVER you are so that i know someone actually reads this damn thing. hahaha.. otherwise i might as well me talking to myself and not typing so much. i can always use that extra energy to stuff my face with more food.

i LOVE to hear comments about cool places that you've tried or heard about. or please comment to if you've been to some of the places that i've mentioned and had a similar or different experience :)
