Carne Asada - La Campestre completa para tados: Prime beef marinated and grilled to perfection. Served with tortillas, tropical fruit salad, guacamole, salsa and beans. 9/10Margarita's - This quaint mexican place with a great reputation.
I wasn't expecting much from this place, but WOW was i wrong. the beef was incredible. super tender and juicy, perfect to make your own little tacos. its meant to be shared by two. they're pretty generous with the meat. but damn if it ain't tasty. for those of you who want some flavorful ass kicking mexican.
we also had the Baked Crab Enchiladas - 6/10
Apparently the signature dish, its stuffed with crabmeat and topped with chipotle chillies and cheese, then baked to perfection. pretty good. but i'd still pick the beef out of the two.
the place is along east coast road (just next to the hong kong cafe)
price - about $50 for the beef, $20 for others
for those of you that don't know, magarita's at east coast is back open! at exactly the same spot. it's nicely redecorated now and the food's just as good as before!
