Lei Garden has always been my FAV place for dim sum here. almost no where else would you find such high quality dim sum. everything is good here. from the shui mai to the chicken feet and especially the char siew pau. Located either at orchard road (behind california fitness centre, how ironic) or at chijmes. personally i think the orchard outlet is better and more consistent.

the hakau is great. always a favorite of everyone. 9/10
one dish that really stands out is the shark's fin with crabmeat and crab roe - 10/10. its probably one of the best i've had. the soup is rich and very creamy, served with a healthy portion of shark's fin.

the famous crispy pork 10/10
the crispy pork is a must try. its super crispy on the top and tender below. not too fatty, just meaty and crispy at the same time.

but there's something else here that if you go you HAVE to try. the lei sha tang yuan. its like muah chee filled with black sesame. its hard to explain. so here's the pic. its soft, moist outer layer coated with crushed peanuts encapsulates the warm black sesame filling which bursts with flavor into your mouth. incredible.
make sure you make reservations if you're planning to come for dim sum on sat or sun afternoon though as it can get pretty crowded.
Lei Garden - Orchard Road, next to California Fitness Center (in the same building as sakura buffet)
Price - about $4 a basket
