the burger craving kicked in one day, so we decided to visit the Relish (by Wild Rocket) that was getting some attention lately. this place is supposed to be pretty famous for its burgers. apparently the chef at wild rocket made some really good burgers and, due to popular demand, opened up this burger joint to cater to his ever-hungry clientele.
the place has a pretty casual ambience, with a bhuge chalkboard that greets you upon entry, stating all their offerings.

i had the bacon cheeseburger. the burger was really thick. like too high instead of wide. which makes it difficult to eat with yoru hands. you can't get the whole damn thing in your mouth. so you have to cut it up into little pieces.
i for one need to eat burgers with my hands. thats what burgers are for! anyway, the patty was good. fresh ground beef, done medium rare, so it was still very moist. but thats it. nothing spectacular.
i think junk food needs to be exactly that. junk. if you eat burgers or pizza you can't have some gourmet stuff. it just doesn't fit. you need a really greasy burger with lots of mayo and sauce. like in & out. i mean the quality is good. the burger taste good, but its just nothing fantastic. no niche.
the onion rings, on the other hand, were good. if you're the type that likes the "fresh onion" type onion rings, not the batter filled burger king ones, then you'll love this. 9/10.
seafood burger - 8/10
The seafood burger (pictured above) fared better. you could really taste the chunks of seafood in the patty, which was fried but still retained the nice moist insides. the creamy mayo went really well with it.
Fries were really good though. cut thick for those who like it that way.
prices can be seen in the first picture
